Digimon All-Star Rumble announced, coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 this November

Today, Bandai-Namco Games announced an all new Digimon game is coming to the US.  Digimon All-Stars Rumble is a four player battler that certainly seems to draw from the Super Smash Bros. franchise.  Diverging from that comparison, this game will be set on a 3D arena.  Confirmed playable Digimon thus far are series stalwarts Agumon, Gabumon, Veemon & Gatomon, as well as Digimon Fusion stars Shoutmon and Dorulumon.

These Digimon will be able to digivolve into their Ultra and Mega forms as the battle rages onward.  One example shown in the screenshots is WarGreymon, Agumon’s megaform.  Naturally this means showings from the likes of Paildramon, and Angewomon are practically guaranteed.  Unfortunately for those who have moved onto the new generation of consoles, Digimon All-Stars Rumble is only coming to PS3 and Xbox 360.  No other information in terms of gameplay or modes was released, but it’s safe to expect more before the game’s November 11th release.
