Mighty No.9 is getting an animated series and new stretch goals for funding

Mighty No.9, Keiji Inafune’s new Kickstarter backed action platformer, is getting an animated series.  Digital Frontier is teaming with Inafune’s studio Comcept US to bring Beck’s adventures to the world of animation in the new series.  No release date was announced, with the above trailer simply ending with “coming soon”, though Digital Frontier wrote on their website that they are targeting a Q2 2016 release.  Comcept US has also opened another crowd funding option in order to give Mighty No. 9 English voice acting.  The stretch goals on this new campaign beyond the $100,000 for English voice acting have not yet been revealed.

Support for the game can now be given through pre-orders.  For $23 player can pre-order the game on PC, 3DS, Wii U, Vita, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.  Up from their, there are bundle packs of Mighty No.9, but no real discount in the price to be found.  For those who want to give a little more, and receive a bit more, Comcept has a $50 tier giving players the game and digital rewards  including  the game’s Retro Manual, Art Book/Strategy Guide & Soundtrack.  For $80 players can have access the prior rewards tier, and have early access to the game through Steam.
