Platinum Games, the acclaimed developer of Bayonetta, The Wonderful 101, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, is developing a game based on the Nickelodeon animated series The Legend of Korra. Simply titled The Legend of Korra, the game will be coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC this Fall. It is being written by Legend of Korra and Avatar: The Last Airbender scribe Tim Hedrick.
Little is known about the plot of the game, but it will take place between the end of Book 2 and the upcoming Book 3 of The Legend of Korra. It will be an action title, with players able to use all four of the elements when trying to defeat their enemies. On top of that, players will be riding Korra’s Polar bear dog Naga down the streets of Republic City, and compete in the 3v3 Pro Bending Tournaments. It should be noted that this will be a downloadable title, not available through retail outlets. Activision is publishing the title, and also announced a 3DS Legend of Korra game is coming, and will be a strategy role-playing game by Webfoot Technologies.
