Batman: Arkham Knight delayed to 2015

Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed to 2015.  Originally slated for a release in October of 2014, the news came accompanied with the above trailer showing off the Batmobile’s battle mode.  To put it bluntly, the Batmobile is decked out for full blown war.  Equipped with  a 60mm kinetic cannon, vulcan anti-tank machine-gun,  missle barrage and non-lethal riot suppression launcher, the Batmobile is equipped to deal with nearly anything that Batman’s Rouges Gallery can throw at him.  A full demonstration of the Battle mode will be on display at E3 next week.

Arkham Knight is not the first major title to be delayed to 2015.  It joins The Witcher 3, Quantum Break, The Order 1886, Mad Max, and The Division on the list of major titles delayed to next year.  No reason was given for the delay, but one can surmise the jump to next-gen has caused some problems for Rocksteady.  For more on Arkham Knight, check out the game’s reveal, and first gameplay trailer.
