Battlefied Hardline

Earlier today, Neogaf collected a handful of leaks surrounding an all new Battlefield title coming in Fall 2014.  The leaks stated that the game will feature cops against robbers in an all new Battlefield title, being co-developed by Visceral (developer of the Dead Space franchise) and Ghost Games UK (developer of Need for Speed: Rivals).  It will also feature at least two new game modes, called Heist and Blood Money.  What these modes will entail is currently unknown.

EA all but confirmed these leaks this afternoon, as the released the website for Battlefield Hardline.  Complete with the image above, EA says that the game’s full unveiling will come on June 9th at 12pm pacific.  This time coincides with EA’s E3 Press briefing, where they will reveal six brand new games.  Battlefield Hardline is assumed to be one of these six titles.  For more, be sure to check here on June 9th, as we will have a full recap of EA’s press conference.

update: Visceral Games Steve Papoutsis wrote on EA’s blog  saying  “The game launches this fall and it’s a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love – the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.”  Papoutis continued saying “we’re excited to be going into more detail soon on the ways we’re adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer and more about how we’re bringing our strengths at Visceral to single player.”
