Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor received an all new trailer today, showcasing how our hero, Talion, will be able to fight back against Sauron’s minions. In previous trailers, it was revealed that Talion’s family was slain by orcs, and Talion was forcibly bonded with a Wraith, who’s power he will now use to control his enemies. Talion’s enemies will become his greatest strength, as Talion’s abilities will allow him to control an orc leader, thereby turning his soldiers in Talion’s minions in his battle against The Black Hand.
The Black Hand is your primary antagonist in the game, and is one of Sauron’s chief minions. He is being voiced by legendary voice actor Nolan North. North has previously portrayed hundreds of characters, including Nathan Drake of Uncharted, Desmond Miles from Assassin’s Creed, and The Penguin in Batman: Arkham City. Talion will be voiced by gaming’s newest star Troy Baker. Troy has previously voiced the likes of Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite, Joel from The Last of Us, The Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, and Hawkeye on Marvel’s Avengers Assemble. Shadow of Mordor will be scored by Bioshock Infinite and A-Team composer Gary Schyman.
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is coming Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC on October 7th, and will be shown at E3 this year.
