Crytek reveals their new MOBA “Arena of Fate”, beta arriving this summer

Crytek is joining the MOBA battle with “Arena of Fate”.  Arena of Fate will put players in the shoes of fairy tale characters and modern legends in a five on five battle arena, that will be familiar to players of games like League of Legends and DOTA 2.  Fairy Tale characters include Little Red Riding Hood and Robin Hood, and modern legends are represented by Joan of Arc and Tesla.  It looks like legends of myth will be fair game as well, with Fenrir, the Norse father of Wolves, is playable in the game.

Not much else is known about the game besides what can be found on it’s official site.  The game promises to be “instantly accessible for newcomers but deep enough to captivate veteran campaigners too”.  There will be multiple ways to score points as well, so don’t expect the classic three lane style battles of LoL to be the standard.  If you would like to be apart of this new MOBA, you can sign up for the beta right now.  It is expected to get underway this Summer, with no full release currently announced.
