Bandai Namco, has pulled back the curtain on their newest fighting game called Rise of Incarnates. This new PC fighting game will put players into two on two battles inside apocalyptic real world cities. The gameplay seems reminiscent of the Naruto Shipuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm titles, with full 3D battles in big arenas. The above trailer showcases a decimated New York with four “Incarnates” battling in it’s remains. Incarnates are people who gain power from “daimons”, that draw power from gods, demons, and monster from mythology.
The four Incarnates shown off in the trailer above are the Grim Reaper, Ares (Greek god of war), Lilith (Biblical Demon), and Mephistopheles (German mythology devil). Bandai Namco plans on announcing many more characters in the future, and those who want to get in on the game early can sign up for the game’s alpha. As of right now, Rise of the Incarnates is only coming to PC. Pure speculation, but I’m betting this game will be free to play, but we have no real word on it’s pricing structure. We’ll give you updates on Rise of Incarnates as soon as we learn it.
