xbox oneXbox One has had a slew of system updates since it’s launch, with each improving the system tremendously.  Today, there will be a new system update coming out, adding more improvement to the system.  Xbox Live’s Major Nelson gave all of the details on the new update today on his blog.

The new updates feature will add a progress bar to game and apps saves; allowing you to see what games or apps have been updated recently or are currently updating.  Friends notifications are finally returning, with you being able to see when friends or favorites sign into Xbox Live.  Kinect will be updated, improving gesture functionality to reduce false positives on non-hand objects triggering gesture commands.  The GameDVR is being updated to increase video quality.

On top of those, the Blu Ray player will be updated to 50 HZ output for content recorded at 50 HZ.  The controller is getting a firmware update, reducing the static from headsets and the stereo headset adapters, and finally the system will have a silent reboot after system updates.
