Xbox 360 gamers are going to have to wait an extra two weeks for Titanfall. EA announced today that Titanfall will release on the Xbox One and PC on March 11th, and on the Xbox 360 two weeks later, on March 25th. In the statement, Patrick Soderlund, EA’s VP of Studios, said “The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience.” If their is a bright spot to this news, it’s that Titanfall will for certain be releasing on Xbox One and PC on March 11th.
As you may know, Bluepoint Games is creating the port of Titanfall on Xbox 360. Bluepoint is best known for their work on the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, and the PS Vita port of PlayStation All Stars Battle Royal. The real question is, how big is the demand for Titanfall on Xbox 360? I’m sure it won’t be nearly as massive of an experience on the Xbox 360 as it would be on PC or Xbox One, but I suppose that likely won’t stop many 360 players from picking it up on the 25th.
