I’ve never hidden how much I’ve been looking forward to Octodad: Dadliest Catch. It seems like one of the funnest games of 2014, and developer Young Horses may have just made the game 100% better, or created the new Mario Party in terms of ruining friendships.
Octodad will feature two to four player local co-op where each player controls one set of limbs. In other words, you and three friends would have to work cooperatively to complete the game’s objectives. It will also feature a roulette mode where control over each limb will change after each objective. For example, if you were controlling the right arm one minute, you may be controlling the left leg the next. No online co-op will be available.
Octodad: Dadliest Catch releases tomorrow on PC, Mac, and Linux. It will launch on PS4 in March.
