Valve showcases the Steam controller in a new video

Last month, Valve announced it’s new SteamOS, Steam Machines and a Steam controller.  This new controller will feature no joysticks, and instead will feature trackpads.  Valve believes the trackpads do a better job of replacing the precision of the mouse than joysticks, and has sought to prove it with videos showcasing many of common games for PC gamers.  In the video below, Valve plays games like Portal 2, Civilization’s 5, and Papers Please, in order to show how diverse the control’s uses are.

What do you think of Valve’s new controller?  Will you be using it on your PC or if you purchase a Steam Machine?  Let us know in the comments below.  Look for Steam controllers and Steam Machines sometime in 2014.
