New gameplay footage of Sonic: The Lost World

Sonic may be finally returning to his classic form.  IGN recently got a chance to play through demos of the Wii U and 3DS versions of Sonic: The Lost World and it looks just plain good.  Sega has now allowed the user to go a normal “walking” speed, holding down the right trigger lets you run and then holding down the left trigger allows you to go into “Spin-Dash” the fastest possible speed.  Their is also the new parkour mode, which allows you to run and move over obstacles and hills.  I don’t mean to kinda gush over this, but this almost looks like it will be the Super Mario Galaxy of Sonic.  The beginning of the video makes me thing this may be one of the games playable during Nintendo’s E3 for the people demos at Best Buy stores next week.  We will likely learn more during Nintendo’s E3 Direct on Tuesday morning.  The first video below is of the Wii U version and the second is of the 3DS version.  Sonic: The Lost World is coming to the Wii U and 3DS this fall.
